My passion for art has been entrenched in my studies, travel, and professional career as a textile designer and color/trend forecaster. The joy of this work was the ever evolving tastes in color and style reflective of cultures, social and economic change. Privately my many years of painting and pastels on 2 dimensional surfaces have led me to clay as my canvas.
I love the challenge of hand built ceramic shapes that create the typography of my glazed imagery. The alchemy of clay, glaze and fire is always a surprise.
I currently reside in 2 spectacular oceanside towns, Sag Harbor ,NY, and Vero Beach, FL. Life has given me the gift of time for freedom of self-expression and the visual inspiration to work extensively.
