Judy Nye
Judy Nye is a local artist living in Vero Beach and works at her SeaBreeze Pottery Studio. She has combined her background in painting with her love of clay. As an avid scuba diver, Judy enjoyed living in the Cayman Islands where she painted scenes from nature and the sea with that up close and personal look. As a potter, she also created a series of pots, platers and vases with that Caribbean Sea flair.
Judy has been painting since the age of ten when she began painting animals and family portraits. Parallel with a career in nursing, Judy continued to study at the Northwestern Oklahoma College and Southern Nazarene University. She also attended pottery classes at Glen Echo Pottery in Washington, D.C. where she learned to combine her love of painting with her pot making.
