Annette moved to Vero Beach upon retirement from a fulfilling career with the New York City Department of Education, where she specialized in Science Education and Mental Health Counseling. Work in education and mental health can be stressful, and retreating to art whenever possible was the perfect way for Annette to deal with a hectic career. New York City afforded many superb opportunities to study the arts, and Annette took advantage of them. She studied art at Pratt Institute of Art, and the New School of Art in New York. She now concentrates upon her art full time. Her work graces the private art collections throughout the Northeast and Florida.
