After being honorably discharged from military service in 1968 and having served proudly with the men of the 1st Battalion 12th Infantry Regiment, Nick began a very successful career at United Parcel Service. He started as a drafter in the Plant Engineering Department and retired as a staff level project manager after 33 years. Nick’s passion for photography started over 40 years ago developing and printing his own photos. Then came the digital age and he decided to give it a try.
He fell in love with it.
Nick’s photo passion is in landscape and architectural photography. He has won awards for his Photography in the Vero Beach Art Club shows “Art by the Sea” and “The Spring Shows.” Additionally, he has won awards at the A.E. Backus Museum, The Vero Beach Art Museum, and the Indian River Photo Club Contests.
Nick is currently a member of the Indian River Photo Club and the Vero Beach Art Club.
With encouragement and support from his wife Julianne, his passion for photography has grown from a hobby into a main stay of his life.
“A great photograph is one that fully expresses what one feels,
In the deepest sense about what is being photographed”
